Life's meaningful events, rituals, and ceremonies deserve to be documented. Coppertone Studios is available to help you preserve the memories of your special occasions. Whether it is a commitment ceremony, family reunion, milestone birthday party, or "girls night out", you can count on our personalized approach to highlight your event's uniqueness.

Our approach to events is similar to our approach to portraits - we will work with you to ensure that we capture the personality of your event in photographic form. Please explore the gallery of some of our event photos, the information about our process, and our event-related services and fees.

Choosing a photographer

Choosing a photographer for your event doesn't have to be difficult. Think about what you are looking for from your photographs. Do you want digital negatives, making it easy to share your photos online? Do you want an album of prints? Do you want posed portraits, candid snapshots, or some of both? Most local photographers have websites with examples of their work and philosophies, explore the web and get an idea of the different styles and approaches that are available.

At Coppertone Studios we shoot in digital format only, this gives us the freedom to see the photographs as we are taking them, which helps us to fine tune lighting and colors as we shoot. You can even see the photos as we're taking them! Additionally, the digital format offers exciting opportunities for creative processing (such as from color to black and white), correction (we can get rid of [or add!] blemishes), and sharing your photographs online (we can host a website of your photographs for a nominal fee).
